You may be new to myhrtoolkit or a seasoned pro, but it is always worth giving your system set-up a Spring clean.

Here’s our top ten tips for fine tuning your HR system.

Toolkit Tune-Up

  • Set up your very own weekly update email – My settings
  • Have you uploaded all your benefits? Review, add and then allocate to staff – Setup and admin > define benefits
  • Learn how to use the new calendar Alerts function – Setup and Admin > Calendar Alerts
  • Check the strength of your users passwords – Setup and Admin > Password strengths
  • Check your system for any leavers and then archive them – Management > leavers
  • Archive any documents, tasks or messages that you no longer need
  • Take 5 minutes to run a Login report and make sure that everyone is using the system – Management > reports > logins
  • Review your managers’ access rights to make sure everyone has the right permissions – Management > access rights
  • Check that all of your work profiles are up-to-date. Do you need to set up any individual profiles? – Setup and Admin > Hours worked profiles
  • Are you recording your Working Time Regulations (WTR) opt outs via our new tool? – Setup and Admin > Working time regulations
