Optimism?

I recently attended a regional meeting with our friends over at the HR Dept. As they shared their survey results (which were excellent) and plans for the future, it was obvious that there was much enthusiasm in the room.

A big reason for this appeared to be the widening scope of the advice that their people were being asked to provide on a day to day basis. In particular they were increasingly being contacted to provide advice and support for organisations undertaking recruitment activity. No doubt some of this would be considered refresher training as it’s a fair while since many companies had hiring on the agenda.

I’ve also noticed recently how many myhrtoolkit customers are reporting increases in headcount. Modest gains yes, but this has been happening for a few months now.

Is it time to dare to allow ourselves a little more optimism for the months ahead?
