Allow a Manager to view the employees under a junior manager - Controllers

This guide will show how to set a Manager to view the employees that report into the Manager below them. It is intended for Controllers.

Managers can see only those employees assigned to them.

If a senior manager wishes to view / manage the subordinates of their line reporting managers, then these staff members would need to be allocated to the senior manager also.

One way that this can be managed, is to create two accounts for the senior manager:

  • One which is their standard myhrtoolkit personal record,
  • and a second which is used for the viewing and management of employees.
Note – Adopting the above set up will lead to certain classes of notifications such as sickness being received by the senior manager.
