Introducing our new Marketing Executive
James Lawson has joined myhrtoolkit as our new Marketing Executive! We are extremely excited to have James on board, who will implement his dynamic skills and valuable experience to further support and assist our Marketing and Sales department and play a crucial part in helping us to achieve our ambitious growth plans.
Having acquired an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism at Sheffield College straight after his A-Levels, James then spent a couple of years doing various part-time and freelance work for a wide range of businesses. This included a role with the Sheffield Carnival as their Social Media, Marketing, and PR Manager, as well as a lengthy stint at local law firm Wosskow Brown as their Content Writer, keeping the website’s ‘news’ and ‘blogs’ sections flowing with topical industry news and general company ongoings.
In 2019, James decided to continue his studies, and has recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in English. With a wealth of new skills and knowledge gained from his three-year course, James will combine this with the important skills he developed during previous employment and education, and work hard to push on with myhrtoolkit’s marketing efforts.
As an ambitious young professional, James is always wanting to develop further: “I’m very happy with my current abilities and strengths, and I know I can make a positive impact at myhrtoolkit. At the same time, I never want to be complacent and risk stagnation, so I always strive to build upon my current skills, as well as learning new ways of doing things and generally widening my skillset.
“I’m also very happy to be able to use my skills in such an exciting role, and with a company as exciting as myhrtoolkit.”
